10 Coffee with God – Day10
Prayer: I intercede today for the pastors, leaders, teachers and all those who have positions of responsibility in our church. Thank you for their lives and ministries. I ask that you continue to use them as channels of your grace and guidance in the lives of my children.
Promise: You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, your Lord, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26: 3 – 4.
Reflection: Review these promises and conditions needed for the promises to be fulfilled. . Let’s go back to the ancient world and consider how cities were built on hilltops. This is most likely what was meant by the reference to a “rock” (Isaiah 26:1). Why were they built on such rocky outcrops? Describe what this reference means if it is an analogy for God (i.e., He is the rock.). In what way is God like a rock in your life?
