27 Coffee with God – Day 27
Prayer: Lord, I ask that my children will find ways of serving you in the church, in missions and in the community. Use them for the extension of your kingdom.
Promise: All your sons will be taught by the LORD, and great will be your children’s peace. Isaiah 54:13.
Reflection: This promise from the Lord was given to Israel not too long after announcing the sending of the Messiah. The promises of God are not for the whole human race, rather, for his own people; those who follow him as the only Lord and sovereign. Today, his people are those who have Christ in their lives. If you belong to this group, this promise is for you. What a fountain of rest and hope!
