28 Coffee with God – Day28
Prayer: Lord, give me strength, self-control and patience in situations in which my children test my limits. Give me wisdom to know when and how I should discipline and set limits in a God-honouring way.
Promise: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8: 28
Reflection: This is one of the promises most cited by Christians. It demands a lot of faith to focus our circumstances and see them through the divine perspective. Who are those recipients of such good fortunes? What eventualities fit into the radius of “all things”? In what way has this complemented your life up until now? What aspects of your present and future can you shelter under this promise?
