30 Coffee with God – Day 30
Prayer:Lord, I pray for those women, who although they yearn to be mothers, have not yet had the privilege. Give them a double portion of your grace. I also pray for those who are fulfilling the role of mother with children who are not their own. Bless them, Father. Let all of your promises be richly fulfilled in them.
Promise: A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Proverbs 31: 10 & 28.
Reflection: These two verses were extracted from one of the most eloquent poem about the virtues of women and mothers. The environment and labors of women have changed, but the character of a noble woman transcends history. Why is she compared to precious gems? From whom will she receive recognition?
